Bishop Dr. Kenneth L. Samuel (Pastor) & Pastor Jean Samuel

Dr. Kenneth L. Samuel is the Bishop of the Apostolic Faith Mission Organization. He was born to the loving parents Grace Ann Knight and Emanuel Weeks on the Island of St. Kitts BWI. He migrated to St. Croix United States Virgin Islands at the early age of fifteen. He attended Elena Middle and Central High School. Dr. Samuel accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at The Apostolic Faith Mission Church ST. Croix, USVI. 

After eighteen years of dedicated service to the Lord, his church, and the Community, he accepted the call to ministry, at which time he was an ordained  minister. Dr. Samuel earned his theological degree from the Institute of Biblical Studies in Lynchburg Virginia, and a Doctoral degree from Adoni International Christian University of Sacramento California. Dr. Samuel is presently the Senior Pastor of Central Apostolic Faith Mission International in Charlotte, N.C. He is supported by his loving wife Pastor Jean Elizabeth Samuel. They are proud parents of four beautiful children Shernelle, Davernelle, Kenneth Jr., and Chantalle Samuel. They all support the ministry with their many gifts and talents.

Pastor Sheran George’s love for God is felt with every encounter she has. Serving in the ministry for over several years, she has been an active member of Apostolic Faith Mission of St. Croix, INC. As a certified minister and an evangelist, she serves in the role of the president of the Women’s Ministry. She has lead women from all walks of life to Christ from a ministry she birthed called the Virtuous Women of God. As she recently stepped into the role of Associate Pastor, her desire is to inspire and edify the church and the "lost" with the help of the Holy Ghost. She possesses Bachelor’s and  Master’s Degrees in Theology, and a diploma for Chaplaincy, Leadership, and Ministry from the CICA International University and Seminary. Additionally, she holds a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from the University of the Virgin Islands and works as a head nurse at the US Virgin Islands Bureau of Corrections.

Overall, her goals are to serve God's people with a spirit of excellence and humility, lead them to serve the Lord in spirit and in truth, and give glory to God in everything.

Pioneer and Founder; Pastor Sarah E. Carty.

Visionary and Pioneer Pastor Sarah Elizabeth Carty was born on the island of Montserrat where she attended the St. Georges Anglican School. At the age of biblical understanding, Sarah Carty became a baptized member of the Pentecostal Assembly Church,  where she served as a Sunday School teacher and Youth Department President. Additionally, she became the pioneer of Sunday School and Vacation Bible School (VBS) there. 

After her work in Montserrat, Sister Sarah E. Carty migrated to the island of St. Thomas where she served at the Apostolic Faith Mission Church there as Choir Director, Youth President, and Secretary of the Board of Trustees. As she did back in Montserrat, then Sister Sarah E Carty , became the pioneer of  Sunday School and VBS.

Having resigned from her duties in St. Thomas, Sister Sarah Carty migrated to St. Kitts. In 1967, she was ordained in the Office of  Pastoral Ministry in Sandy Point. There she was licensed to practice and perform All Religious Rites.

 In 1972, with the assistance of Pastor Blyden (deceased) and Sister Forbes, Pastor Sarah Elizabeth Carty co-founded the Apostolic Faith Mission of St. Croix. She served the church as Pastor, Overseer, and President of the Board of Trustees. In addition, as she did in Montserrat and in St.Thomas, Pastor Carty pioneered Sunday School & VBS on St. Croix.

After toiling in the Kingdom of God for fifty years, Pastor Sarah Elizabeth Carty retired from her positions as Overseer and President of the AFM organization. The Overseer  baton was passed on to Dr. Kenneth L. Samuel; Pastor of the Central Apostolic Faith Mission in Charlotte, NC., and the President baton was passed on Deacon Beresford Edwards. Pastor Carty, although retired, works along with the current Board of Trustees where she serves as an Honorary Member.
